Our experience with Sound Decks was excellent! Brett and the rest of the team made it a such an easy process to get our deck redone. We had all the boards replaced with TimberTech for about 1000sqft of decking with three sets of stairs. We started by getting three quotes from local companies and Sound Decks had the best and most comprehensive bid. We originally planned to go with a cheaper composite decking material, but Brett and his team were prompt and very responsive with providing us new quotes after we changed our minds several times (and they never complained). The project took place over the summer of 2021. My wife was due with a baby in mid-July and we had planned ahead with Sounds Decks to try and get things done before the due date. The baby ended up coming 2 weeks early so work was still in progress, but the Sounds Decks crew was very unobtrusive and we hardly noticed them. We also had an intense heat wave during that time and the crew still made it out nearly every day. They actually ended meeting the original deadline despite the heat wave which was very impressive! Although it wasn't in the original bid, the crew went above and beyond to reinforce some weak joists and stairs. They also surprised me by putting some detailed finishing touches around our stone fireplace which looks great! All in all I would definitely hire Sounds Decks again and would highly recommend them for any deck project.

Sound Decks performed in an exemplary fashion on our deck project. Their contributions in the planning stage (conceptualizing, preparing official prints and providing interface with the city on the permit); procurement of materials (everything was on site on schedule); construction (attendance of workers, attention to detail and pride in their work); and cleanup were performed in a professional manner and with extraordinary client communication quality. Brett, Tyler, and their team at Sound Decks were the best! They made our entire experience from getting a quote to finishing our new deck professional, quick, and best of all the exact vision that we had! After getting quotes from many other companies Sound Decks were very reasonably priced and expedited our project to be done so we could enjoy it for the majority of the summer. Checked every box for us. The team worked around the clock to remove our old deck in 1 day, and get our new (fairly large) deck finished in under the projected time. From start to finish, Kevin and his crew (and his unaffiliated contractors) did an absolutely fantastic job on our 660-square-foot deck addition. Having done the research, we wanted a LockDry surface (http://www.nexaninc.com/products/decking/lockdry-waterproof-decking) -- waterproof, dry carport area underneath, low maintenance, and very durable. Kevin took over from there and built us an amazing space with fastidious attention to detail, superior work quality, and respectful construction practices. I highly recommend the decking material and even more highly recommend Kevin as a professional who knows what he's doing and strives to give his customers a fantastic end product. We are extremely pleased with our deck.

Kevin, John and team did a beautiful job rebuilding multiple decks and railings at our Redmond home in January 2019. Kevin provided a detailed quote, with photo examples, and helpful options for upgrade ideas along the way. The crew was polite, on-time, and cleaned up at the end of each day. John's craftsmanship is top notch and the crew finished on time, on budget. Several questions and options came up during the build, and John asked us for our preference with each, either by checking in first thing in the morning, or giving us a call. We are thrilled with the finished product. We have already recommended Sound Decks to friends.
