Carpenter - Apprentice / Laborer

Location: Sound Decks Issaquah, WA USA
Compensation: $19 to $22 Hourly

Job Requirements:

Qualified candidates have at least one to two year(s) of carpentry/construction experience and willing to learn from the Lead Carpenter they are assigned to. This position is for the ambitious and hungry for learning new skills for eventual advancement. In this position, you will be involved in framing, concrete, stair build, decking, railing build and installation and demo. As soon as you join our team, it will be our common goal to successfully advance you to the Lead Carpenter role.

Team members must be punctual, detail-oriented, have reliable transportation, be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, lift a minimum of 50lbs., take direction well, and work as a part of a team to achieve common goals. Owning your own hand tools is a must!...power tools is a major plus but not a requirement.

Currently Looking for a motivated, intelligent individual to train into being a lead carpenter for our company, Eastside Deck LLC, dba Sound Decks. We are actively recruiting hard-working and dedicated carpenter construction laborers to join our construction team. We desire candidates who demonstrate reliability, integrity, commitment and who are looking to grow with our team! Performance-based wage averaging $18 - $21 hourly to start! We do offer medical insurance after 90 days.

Lead Carpenter

This position is for the ambitious and hungry who value continuous improvement. In this position, you will be involved in framing, concrete, stair build, decking, railing build and installation and demo. We need leaders who can inspire your crew into being the best they can be. Team members must be punctual, detail-oriented, have reliable transportation, be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, lift a minimum of 50lbs., take direction well, and work as a part of a team to achieve common goals. Owning your own truck/van and hand tools is a must!...power tools is a major plus but not a requirement.

Performance-based wage as much as $52 per hour based on piece rate budgeted hours for each project. We also offer medical insurance after 90 days.

Sales Representative

Location: Sound Decks Issaquah, WA 98027 USA
Compensation: $20 an hour PLUS commission for the first 4 months. After that, it is commission only.

Sound Decks is looking for:

We need a sales rep with construction experience that can sell to homeowners. The homeowners already have expressed interest in working with us, and they are in need of a new or replacement deck to build for their home. We are providing you with hot leads.
 

Job Requirements:

Our company would be an exhibitor in the Seattle Home Show on February 17-25. We would require the Sales Representative to attend our booth with our team. This could possibly be an opportunity to generate even more leads. You need construction experience, familiarity with composite decking products (such as Azek, TimberTech, etc), and be able to provide detailed estimates of labor and materials.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD 2013 or later or Sketchup Pro or similar a plus.
